Children & Youth
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
We believe children represent the future of the Church. Youth groups provide safe, supervised opportunities for young people of all ages to join together to learn more about
God's plan for their lives through fellowship, outings, service projects and JUST PLAIN FUN!
St. Paul's offers three different youth programs designed with age-appropriate activities (click on the youth group's name for upcoming events):
Our Grade School Youth program is dedicated to supplementing the family and caregivers in their callings to lay a spiritual foundation that will grow a child's relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We are an active bunch playing games, making crafts and participating in a plethora of activities. Through everything we do, we learn the Good News that there is a God who loves each one of us!
For our Middle School Youth, our program is designed to help students grow in their understanding of what it means to follow Jesus. We have an awesome (and sometimes crazy . . .) time when we meet. We get to do a lot of cool things from lock-ins to movies to service projects to parties to excursions. Along the way, we dive into God's Word and grow closer together as we grow closer to Jesus.
Our High Youth Program offers older teens opportunities to meet friends and grow in their relationship with God in a relaxed, accepting and welcoming environment. We have a blast hanging out, going out, lifting each other up in prayer, and studying and applying God's Word to our own lives. While our youth group is a place to have fun, it is also, more importantly, a place to ask questions, and learn what the Bible says about issues that are important to our generation.
"Girl Scouting is for every girl, everywhere - where today's girl can become tomorrow's leaders." We are blessed to have Girl Scout Troop 743 which serves the Daisy (Kindergarten), Brownie (1-3rd grade), Juniors (4th-6th grade), and teens (7th-12th grade). Girl Scouting is not only about fun and friendship, but it also involves providing service opportunities that build character and self-esteem. For more information, please contact Alison Moore, Girl Scout Leader and Coordinator.
