Who We Are
Outreach & Missions
St. Paul's works closely with the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas. We sponsor four blood drives per year. Our goal of 35 pints per drive!
St. Paul's has been a long-time support of Rowan Helping Ministries. Each month we participate in a food drive. We also provide financial support during the year.
Each year, members of our congregation join more than 4 million people in over 20 countries to raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer through the Relay For Life movement.
The first Monday of each month, our congregation participates in Meals On Wheels of Rowan County by delivering a nutritious meal, a warm smile and a safety check to seniors living independently in their homes in our area of the county.
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization building simple, decent, affordable housing in partnership with people in need. St. Paul's participates in Habitat each year by providing cakes for fundraisers, serving meals to volunteers at building sites or by providing actual hands-on support such as painting or other construction work.
Extension and Community Association (ECA) strengthens families through community service, leadership development and education. St. Paul's is involved with the Rowan County Cooperative Extension. Some of the initiatives we participate in include: Bonnets for Newborns, Rowan County Fair Judges, and Aprons for the Elderly.
St. Paul's supports several area schools including Koontz Elementary and Southeast Middle. St. Paul's outreach to local schools includes collecting money, donate supplies and providing food bags for students and families in need. We also support a school Bible program called, Food For Thought. Members of St. Paul's Women volunteer as tutors through the year or serve as lunch monitors so that teachers can have a much deserved "duty-free lunch."
