Please e-mail our Interim Choir Director, Alex Day, with any questions.
"Music is a fair and glorious gift of God" so said Martin Luther. We at St. Paul's could not agree more. Music seems to have the ability to put into words what is within the human spirit. Paul urges us to sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs thereby teaching us what it means to live the Christian life. We are blessed to have such capable leadership and talent with the church body. At St. Paul's, our choirs and musicians work hard to lead in worship week after week. The talent of this congregation is self-evident.
There are numerous musical outlets for service. We have a Senior Choir, Men's Choir, and Treble Kidz. There are also opportunities for singers and musicians to share their talents and faith during special services and Holy days. Alex Day, our Interim Choir Director, and Johnsie Taylor, our Organist, look forward to telling you more about our music ministries at St. Paul's. We are always looking for more willing and talented people to come join in our endeavors to serve Christ more fully.
To again quote Martin Luther, "I am strongly persuaded that after theology there is no art than can be placed on a level with music; for besides theology, music is the only art capable of affording peace and joy of the heart . . . the devil flees before the sound of music almost as much as the Word of God." May all we do now and in the future be to the Glory of God alone.
